“Hana Kimi” SP confirmed
Last summer’s “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e” drama series is returning for a one-episode special. Starring Maki Horikita, Shun Oguri, and Toma Ikuta, the show was very popular, especially among female viewers. It averaged 17.3% ratings, with the final episode reaching 21.0%.
According to Fuji TV, the special will take place half a year after the series’ end. With Osaka Gakuen getting ready for an upcoming Valentine’s Day event, Sano (Oguri) and Nakatsu (Ikuta) reflect on the final week of their last summer vacation, which falls into the timeline of the original series between episodes 7 and 8. The special also includes a graduation scene and addresses the relationship between Mizuki (Horikita) and Sano.
Filming begins on Wednesday, but no broadcast date has been specified yet.

Aw, that means it’ll probably all be shot in Japan… No love for California… not that i could go anyways. haha. But yay! A special!! More Shuuuuun!! and Maki will be able to dress as a girl, imagine how all the others will act, haha. Can’t wait!!

i was hoping they’d all go to california, the continuation of the last episode lol. but it’s ookay, valentine’s day! i wonder who nakatsu will end up with? i heard there’s this one girl in the manga which never came out in the drama. i never read the manga so i don’t know lol.
oh yes, now that you mention it, they’ll be able to see maki dress as a girl. ohmygod i want to see that~ xD

hello bloodyrose! yes nakatsu will grace our screens again sooonnnn with his cute expressions! i don’t know who nakatsu will end up with, but maybe the storyline is going to be the same as the manga? i’ve never read the manga so i have no idea. komari is ookay, but sometimes she just annoys me lol. yuujirou is indeed cute! xD

i’m so happy that everyone here loves ikuta toma and loves hanazakari-japan!! hanazakari japan has a great casting, huh?
somewhere out there, people from my country are arguing and fighting through words because of hana kimi japan and taiwan…don’t you think it’s pathetic??? i mean, is there a need to quarrel to the extent of using extremely harsh words because of this? i mean, if i like the Jdrama, why not let me be??? i know they are just saying their opinions but why fight??can they not say their opinions without fighting like that?? it irritates me ’cause it also reflects what kind of people are living in our country.
i’m so sorry for complaining using this page but i just want to hear other people’s thoughts regarding this one..]

hello zero! i’ve never watched hana kimi taiwan before, so i don’t really know. but it’s unfair to compare the both of them. each of them has their own style of doing things. xD but i’ll stick with hana kimi japan because i love ikuta toma and horikita maki. anyways, thanks for dropping by! glad you like my site. ^^

aaaaah!!!! i can’t wait for this! i’ve watched this series over and over again.. but i still can’t get enough! makes me feel so nostalgic.. aaah, high school life! anyway.. is it not going to start off from the california vacation like in the last episode?? just curious.. but anyway, i really couldn’t care less as long as i can see NAKATSUUUUUU again! i love ikuta toma’s character here!! and i hope he ends up with some other girl.. not komari.. although she’s a very cute girl and all.. welll… you know what i mean.. aaah, nakatsuuuu!

yipeeeee! a hanakimi special! have you watched hana kimi taiwan? they say, it’s more connected to the manga, unlike the japanese version. there’s a girl there named julia, mizuki’s best friend in america. she went to japan because of mizuki and also of being a transfer student too. she got a lot of fights with nakatsu because she was claiming to be mizuki’s girlfriend, for safety purposes. in the end, she ended up inlove with nakatsu. isn’t that great?

i’m really stoked about the upcoming special which is rumored
to be aired in July… According to other rumors its also a 2 and
a half hour special which makes it all the more exciting… More

They should have made an alternate special or something which
should have been in California… I mean Mizuki’s house is too
huge.. the whole cast could fit there… XD Imagining that excites

tumblewush, since it’s a SP, it’s going to be an hour or more. not sure about the storyline, but i think maki is going to return to osaka gakuen again? i’ve seen few pictures, seems like she’s in osaka gakuen. xD season two sounds good, but then, a SP should be enough. at least, for me. ^^

in the end of hana kimi taiwan, the nakatsu there told the mizuki there that he’s in love with julia. but i dont think it settles everything from that episode because the series seem to have a part 2… and i havent seen the manga either. so i dont know. but i really love that part wherein nakatsu ended up with someone unlike the japanese version. but hey, i’m a fan of the japanese version too! hahaha. i so love toma.

isha♥ : hana kimi SP will air, maybe this july? i don’t know. but it’s just a drama special, a one-episode drama. i heard there’s going to be a new character in the SP, and people who have read the manga said the new character is going to end up as nakatsu’s partner. not sure though, that’s what i picked up from other sites. xD horimaki and toma? YES that’s really cute! maki and yamapi isn’t too bad either. xD

It’s already august and I’ve been waiting for HanaKimi SP like FOREVER! I miss watching Nakatsu being silly and funny. He is so lovable! Watching him Maou – Aaahhhh!!! I love him even more! It’s good to see how versatile he is to be able to bring different characters convincingly. I love him best as Nakatsu!
