summer 2008 dramas.
June 19, 2008
little did i know that the summer drama list has been completed. i have five dramas on my list right now.
- maou
- code blue
- koizora
- yasuko to kenji
- seigi no mikata
casts : ohno satoshi, ikuta toma
casts : yamashita tomohisa, aragaki yui, toda erika
casts : mizusawa erena, seto koji
casts : matsuoka masahiro, okura tadayoshi, hirosue ryoko
casts : shida mirai, yamada yu
as expected, maou is on the top of the list. then, comes yamapi.. i mean code blue. i want to see yamapi as a doctor though when i first read the news, HAHAHAHA i just bursted out laughing, don’t know why. don’t get me wrong, i loveee yamapi.
Erena Mizusawa, Koji Seto to star in “Koizora”
TBS’ drama adaptation of “Koizora” now has its leads confirmed. From more than a thousand people auditioning for the parts, 16-year-old model Erena Mizusawa and 20-year-old D-BOYS actor Koji Seto were chosen to star in the series.
Originally based on a mobile phone novel, the story was turned into a hit movie last year starring Yui Aragaki and Haruma Miura. When it was announced in May that the drama version would have a different cast, producers were said to be looking for a pair with relatively little acting experience.
Mizusawa, a model for the magazine SEVENTEEN, just made her acting debut in BS-i’s “Koisuru Nichiyoubi” drama program this past March. On the other hand, Seto has been with the acting troupe D-BOYS for about two and half years, and is currently gaining plenty of exposure as the hero of “Kamen Rider Kiva.”
“Koizora” starts on August 2, airing Saturday nights around 8:00pm.
i was hoping that they’d used the same casts from the movie. MIURA HARUMA. oh wells, still looking forward to the drama.
as for yasuko to kenji, i admit i am just going to watch that because of okura, i’ve never watched any of his dramas before. the storyline sounds interesting too, so let’s just wait.
then lastly, seigi no mikata, probably because of shida mirai? don’t know. there’s just something that’s pulling me into watching this drama.
i’m done with my summer drama list. might drop a drama or two.
anyway, i’ve found a ranking on “which johnny will become active from now on? (2008).”
1. Yamashita Tomohisa
2. Ikuta Toma
3. Kamenashi Kazuya
4. Nishikido Ryo
5. Akanishi Jin
6. Tanaka Koki
7. Tegoshi Yuya
8. Yamada Ryosuke
9. Yokoyama Yu
10. Taguchi Junnosuke
11. Kazama Shunsuke
12. Koyama Keiichiro
13. Nakamaru Yuiichi
14. Chinen Yuri
15. Murakami Shingo
16. Kato Shigeaki
17. Shibutani Subaru
18. Okamoto Keito / Takaki Yuya
20. Nakama Yuma / Nakajima Yuto / Yaotome Hikaru
23. Okura Tadayoshi / Masuda Takahisa
25. Yabu Kota
26. Ueda Tatsuya / Totsu (from ABC)
28. Hasegawa Jun / Morimoto Ryutaro / Yasuda Shota
..seriously, there’s something wrong with this ranking. why is yabu kota below yaotome hikaru? between yabu and hikaru, yabu always gets the most attention. he’s the most active out of those two, ne?
ookay. today’s post, i’m done.
and today’s thursday.
yay.

MAOU!!!!! I think Ikuta Toma should be at number one… Pi’s always active, same for Ryo… haha, Pi as a doctor, that should be interesting, i haven’t seen him in a drama in quite some time… I think Kurosagi was the last drama… haha. that’s gonna be as weird as seeing Kei do the role of a nurse or as Sho playing a kinder teacher. lol!

vero : maou’s on top of the list like i said before. that’s ohno and toma right there in one drama. xD lololol ryo! yes yes, ryo should be number one. he’s with NEWS and K8 and then there’s this new drama. the last drama i saw with yamapi in it was proposal daisakusen, i think. i know it’s strange righttt, yamapi as a doctor. seems unbelievable lol.
rory : yes, it really is weird. xD the top five seems reasonable, but the rest just seems so wrong.
erika : maou should be good! ikuta toma! <3 his hair looks really nice in the drama i want to see the drama already! i’ve yet to watch the koizora movie, wonder if that movie’s going to be subbed. =/ eh? baby robot? LOL. sounds interesting. why don’t we have that kind of thing here? lol. good luck!
laura : i laughed when i first heard the news but since it’s yamapi, i’m definitely watching it. xD i got that ranking from inookani.net.

Yep! Ikuta Toma is good actor and he’s really funny. I like his role in Hanazakari no Kimitachi eh and in “Honey and Clover”.
